About This Course

The objective of this online course is to support health practitioners to feel confident in the application of Hauora Māori competencies, focusing specifically on the application of the Hui Process and Meihana Model. This online course is tailored to assist learners in applying these models within their practice alongside Māori patients and/or whānau. The Hui Process and Meihana Model promote positive engagement, appropriate care/treatment and health advocacy that supports Māori health equity.
