About This Web Site

This site presents a series of practice/self-test problems designed to help you improve your ability to draw the correct conclusions from statistical tests. The problems are based on a set of statistical "scenarios", each of which is a brief description of a fictional study that would be analyzed using the general linear model, as covered in PSYC311. Suggested conclusions are given for each result of the study, and your task is to decide whether or not each suggested conclusion is appropriate. Then you can check your decision and get a brief explanation about each suggested conclusion, and it is hoped that such practice will help improve your own skill at formulating correct conclusions.
