About This Course - Tūruki

Tūruki in te reo māori means to grow, move forward, and strengthen. Tūruki is intended to support your transition from high school into the University, specifically Health Science First Year (HSFY). As part of your first semester in HSFY you are required to take PHSI 191 (Biological Physics). Tūruki will guide you through the mathematical tools needed to succeed in physics. We will have a workshop on this in the first week of semester (Wednesday 26th February). To be ready for this you will need to complete each Tūruki lesson (approx. 20 minutes each day).
